After extensive study of the techniques gathered from around the world by TACFIT® creator Scott Sonnon, we have distilled the fundamentals of the TACFIT® system into Kettlebell 101. This program is a well-grounded, multifaceted workout regimen and introduction to kettlebell training that can be done at home.
This program:
- Comes from years of experience and knowledge. Our trainers have learned from the best – Scott Sonnon – the creator of “The World’s Smartest Workout.”
- Kettlebell 101 allows you to advance your training over time. We won’t ask you to overexert yourself when you’re not ready, and our exercises won’t be too simple for you in a few months if you increase the intensity.
- Our program gives you a solid foundation of technique on which to build even more sophisticated movements, allowing you to train smarter, not harder.

This program is what I was looking for. It has helped crystallize my understanding and usage of kettlebells. Most importantly it has made kettlebells way more fun. All ten exercises are great and even if you are already familiar with these moves, chances are you will learn something as Eric Esik Melland breaks everything down in easy to follow instructions. Even if you don’t follow the specific day by day program (I’m not yet) the instructional videos themselves are worth it. I don’t see myself outgrowing this any time soon. Please be aware that the videography / production is pretty DIY and YouTube like. One stationary camera of the trainer in his garage…not lit as well as a professional lighting engineer might have done. So if you’re expecting a slick production like the days of yore, this is not that. It’s the bare bones information coming to you directly from a very skilled and knowledgeable trainer. In a pre COVID world this lack of production values might have mattered, but who cares, right? It’s more than adequate and I actually like this format quite a bit.
