Kettlebells are uniquely designed to build grip strength, develop explosive power, and fire up your nervous system. They’re excellent for full-body workouts including cleans to squats, snatches, and swings.
TACFIT Kettlebells are formed into a strong, balanced, single-piece casting with a flat wobble-free base. A clean, void-free surface and durable powder-coat finish give TACFIT Kettlebells an unmatched feel.
TACFIT Kettlebells for sale are designed around these requirements so each bell can reach the highest quality and have the cleanest finish possible. This also allows us to have a smooth, comfortable handle.
TACFIT Kettlebells do not use plastic caps, plugs, or patches like lower quality products, making them some of the best kettlebells in the industry.
“Regular” kettlebells are typically made from solid cast iron and the type that you’ll most likely find at gyms and sporting goods. The size of the bell and handle progressively get bigger with increasing weight.
“Competition” style kettlebells refer to the design and are typically made from steel, not iron. They aren’t just for competitors. The main advantage is they are uniform the size and handle, making it much easier to transition from one weight to another without having to adjust grip.
Learning proper techniques is essential and mandatory for safe and effective training. We recommend starting with our Kettlebell 101 program or our popular Kettlebell Spetsnaz 101, and reaching out to our amazing online community on Facebook if you have questions.
Our modern-day kettlebell was first a Russian girya used to weight crops in the 18th century. A century later, someone in that same country had the idea to use the giyra for strength training and competition, and the lowly crop tool has never looked back.
In 1996, TACFIT Founder Scott Sonnon discovered the kettlebell in play during his travels to Russia. He knew he was on to something revolutionary. With assistance from two globally renowned leaders in kettlebell fitness – former USSR Spetsnaz Physical Training Instructor and Military Master of Sport Pavel Tsatsouline and World Kettlebell Lifting Champion Record Holder Valery Fedorenko – Scott deftly wove TACFIT protocols together with kettlebell training to produce the world’s first series, the Kettlebell Fitness Course.
