CST: The Return to Flow

More than a method, Circular Strength Training (CST) is a return to the intelligence of movement. Created by Scott Sonnon, CST was born from the crucible of martial arts, refined by biomechanics, and expanded through modern neurophysiology. It is the original “health-first” performance system that shaped TACFIT decades before TACFIT achieved worldwide recognition.

CST is a complete movement ecosystem: Intu-Flow for joint health, Clubbell swinging for three-dimensional strength, and Prasara Yoga for tension release through flow. Together, they form a training triad that regenerates the nervous system, restores full-spectrum mobility, and builds strength that lasts.

This isn’t fitness by force. It’s skillful adaptation. Strength without pain. Movement without limitation. This CST Legacy Workshop is a 3-hour theoretical and practical experience, offering insight into the original system that laid the foundation for TACFIT. Updated with modern science, it remains rooted in timeless principles: breath, structure, movement.

Whether you are a coach, a clinician, or a TACFIT practitioner, CST will show you how to move better, recover faster, and prepare more intelligently for life’s real challenges.

Only better is better.

Learn from veteran TACFIT Master Coaches who have lived this journey, not just taught it. You will feel the legacy in your breath and bones.

Legacy in Motion

Circular Strength Training laid the groundwork for what would later become recognized as “The World’s Smartest Workout”. Long before mindful movement became a global trend, CST was already providing a structured system to address joint health, breath regulation, and total-body strength through intelligent mechanics. The combination of spinal waves, joint articulations, swinging patterns, and flow states was designed to rebuild the body from within.

Foundations of the Method

Clubbells develop rotational and lever-based strength with feedback that refines control and coordination. Intu-Flow nourishes joints and stimulates mechanoreceptors through systematic mobility articulation. Prasara Yoga/FlowFit integrates breath with movement to dissolve residual tension and restore functional elasticity. These tools were developed out of necessity, tested across disciplines, and refined through real-world demands.

The Science of Resilience

CST programming uses dynamic complexity to activate the nervous system without overloading it. Movements progress in all dimensions of complexity: position, load, velocity, coordination. This means the system can regenerate, not just stress. Backed by research in stress modulation and neuromechanics, CST delivers results that last without the cost of burnout.

A Living Community of Practice

This workshop is an opportunity to engage with a global community of enthusiasts and professionals in CST, TACFIT, FlowFit, Clubbells and More! It is led by coaches who have integrated the method into tactical training, rehabilitation, martial arts, and athletic performance. Each brings years of applied experience, offering both theory and embodiment through real-world application. The community continues to grow, grounded in recovery, readiness, and the pursuit of intelligent movement.
