Benefits of Clubbell Training vs Traditional Weightlifting
Unlike conventional weightlifting, where you must increase the weight lifted, the Clubbell® is swung. Swinging increases torque which increases force production. Conventional weightlifting is restricted to linear increases of force by simply adding weight. The problem with this is the more weight you place on your body, the more it compresses your joints, stresses the soft tissues, and increases the risk of injury.

Clubbell training can strengthen and save your joints from injury while building muscular strength and endurance. That is why Clubbell® training is a superior method of training that’s efficient (can be done in a fraction of the time), cost-effective (no costly extra weights) and without the litany of injuries associated with conventional weightlifting.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What weight should I start with?
For men, we recommend two 10lbs Clubbells and one 20lbs Clubbell for two-handed exercises.
For women, we recommend two 5lbs Clubbells and one 15lbs Clubbell for two-handed exercises.

Why do they seem so heavy?
Unlike conventional dumbbells, the displaced center-of-mass makes it very challenging to lift.

I’m afraid I’m going to hurt myself, how can I be sure I’m using them safely?
Learning proper technique is essential and mandatory for safe and effective training. We recommend downloading Clubbell 101 for beginners, and reaching out to our online support community on Facebook for feedback. For live training, you can search for certified instructors in your area using the member directory.

Does this work out my legs?
Clubbell training is a total body workout. Almost all exercises involve using your legs to help support and balance yourself while moving.

What material is the Clubbell made from?
The Clubbell is made from steel and the barrel is protected with a urethane rubber coating. This helps protect you from injuries and your floors!

Is the Clubbell expensive?
The Clubbell is typically the price of a one month gym membership which you never get back even, and will last for the rest of your life.

Disclaimer**: I am writing this review before receiving my clubbells. There will be a part 2 to this review after I use my clubs for at least several months. I don’t want to make this too long but, I hope to help guide anyone thinking of buying these clubs. I am a neurologist and so I’ll say first and foremost, the science behind the benefits of the type of movements required to work out with these clubs makes sense. You can read up on that on your own. I first tried these clubs at a friend’s house who is also a physician. He had 2 brands of clubs and we both agreed Tacfit’s were the superior ones. I had to have them. I ordered a pair online and was told by customer service they were not available a couple days after my order. Their website was being updated so it did not indicate they were not available. They assured me I would get my clubs within 2 weeks and their response was almost immediate. It was very nice to get such great customer service on my first order.
I will be writing a part 2 to this review so stay tuned….

I have used many style of clubs in my 10 years of experience. CST clubs are hands down the best club out there in every aspect. The grip and length are just right, plus the rubber coating add a good layer of safety for those new to swinging clubs.

I own several other clubs from other companies and although this is a bit more costly , this is the only Clubbell worth buying IMO. Plus the training and people in the TACFIT community are great. Highly recommended!

I’m an old, dirty knuckle dragger with a lot of work-related injuries and worn out body parts. One of my DTAC instructors was talking about Tacfit clubs and got me interested in the concept. He broke out some super heavy (45-60lbs clubs) that I had trouble maneuvering. I was hooked. I bought a couple of 15s to try.

I’ve had great success with using Clubbells, both in strength increases, and in rehabilitating and avoiding injuries. I started with the 15s, but eventually got the whole family interested and now we have a pretty wide range of clubs, and I purchased Clubbell Mobility 101 (more on that in a second). I mix the Clubbell exercises in with pretty much every workout, even if it’s not solely a club workout, just to keep my shoulders and knees moving the way I need them to.

I initially bought Clubbell Mobility 101 for my kid along with a couple of 3lb clubs. She has a version of cerebral palsy and I wanted to help her even out some balance and musculature issues. She ended up doing a lot of the exercises with no clubs to start and has progressed really well. I went through the program and started with 10lb clubs…because I’m an idiot. I went down to 5lb clubs to start and still got a serious smoke session during each workout. It was awesome and fun, and I modified some of the exercises for use in heavier workouts. I will say that you need to invest the 1 or 2 dollars in the Tacfit Timer. It’s worth it. I also had some questions about the workouts and emailed Tacfit. They responded quickly and were super patient walking me through some of the steps. I always appreciate good customer service, especially these days, and Tacfit delivers.

There are also so many different variations of exercises that I never get bored. I don’t feel like I get into a rut with the clubs, and if I get to a point with an exercise where I don’t enjoy it any more, I find another exercise working the same body parts and switch it up.

About a month ago I purchased Clubbells in various weights. If you are looking for clubbells look no further. These clubbells so well balanced they feel like they grew in my hands. I have had a history of shoulder injuries separations and a once dislocated right shoulder, even with Physical Therapy and cable workouts, they never even felt 70% good. I currently live in Arizona which allows me to swing Clubs in my yard most of the year. About six months ago after discovering Tacfit online through an old Scott Sonnon video. It lead me to Tacfit. I found and train with Eric Brault under Chris Kirk@TacfitArizona. I also purchased an online program with Robert Miller. So by incorporating the Circular Strength Training of Clubells at age 64 I feel like I have new and stronger shoulders. Great company, really cool peeps and customer service. They really believe in what they do and it shows.
